The Incheon Metropolitan Government announced that it will hold the 2026 Incheon Metropolitan City Investment Briefing at 11 a.m. on September 30 in the Premier Ballroom of Songdo Convensia. The briefing has been organized as part of the 24th World Korean Business Convention, which will take place in Incheon from September 28 to 30.

The briefing is designed to introduce Incheon’s investment environment and promising investment sectors to overseas Korean business leaders active around the world, along with domestic and international buyers, and to broaden opportunities for tangible investment and corporate attraction by leveraging global economic networks. As overseas Korean entrepreneurs possess a broad command of local markets, capital, and personal networks, expanding points of contact with them serves as a channel for widening the reach of the regional economy.

About 160 people are expected to attend, including members of Ok Biz (the Overseas Korean Business Advisory Council), YBLF and YBLN (the Young Business Leaders Forum and Network), domestic and international buyers, and members of the Incheon Metropolitan City Overseas Korean Support and Cooperation Committee.

In particular, three organizations will take part in this briefing together: the Investment Promotion Division of the Incheon Metropolitan Government, the Investment Promotion Business Headquarters of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, and the Incheon Business Management Support Center of the Incheon Technopark. Drawing on their expertise in investment attraction and corporate support, each organization plans to introduce Incheon’s investment conditions, corporate support policies, and promising investment sectors, thereby drawing the interest of investors and businesses.

Using the World Korean Business Convention as an opportunity, Incheon intends to intensively promote its investment appeal and growth potential to the global business leaders gathered in one place, while expanding exchanges with participating companies and buyers to lay a foundation for cooperation that leads to future investment consultations and corporate attraction.

Kim Young-shin, Director-General of the city’s International Cooperation Bureau, said, ‘Because the World Korean Business Convention brings together overseas Korean business leaders active all over the world in one place, it is an excellent opportunity to showcase Incheon’s investment competitiveness and growth potential,’ adding, ‘Using this briefing as a springboard, we will expand our global economic network with overseas Korean entrepreneurs and provide active support so that it leads to tangible outcomes in investment and corporate attraction.’

Meanwhile, attendance at the 2026 Incheon Metropolitan City Investment Briefing is limited to those who register in advance, and further details about the event can be obtained through the operating secretariat of the 24th World Korean Business Convention (070-8666-7272).
