AI content company AIFLIX has signed a purchase and distribution agreement with Malaysian terrestrial broadcaster MyHanKuk TV for two AI animated films, establishing a distribution framework to reach overseas audiences.

Under the agreement signed on October 8, 2026, AIFLIX and MyHanKuk TV agreed to exclusively supply A Christmas Carol and Marie, the Little Match Girl’s Christmas Gift to four countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Bangladesh. The agreement covers television broadcasting, online use and theatrical distribution, with the aim of introducing the films to local audiences through multiple channels.

MyHanKuk TV is Malaysia’s terrestrial CH4 broadcaster, available on digital channel 104. Under the agreement, it will pursue the supply and distribution of the two films across the contracted territories, including television broadcasting in Malaysia. AIFLIX will expand its overseas distribution through production and content supply, while MyHanKuk TV will connect the films with audiences through local broadcasting and distribution.

Exclusive Distribution Across Four Countries, from Television to Online Platforms and Cinemas

The rights covered by the agreement include comprehensive broadcasting rights, online usage rights and theatrical distribution rights. Accordingly, audiences in the contracted territories will be able to access the films through television, online services and cinema screenings.

The permitted languages are English, Malay, Indonesian and Bengali. The two companies plan to supply the films with consideration for local languages and viewing environments, helping audiences from different language backgrounds understand and enjoy the stories.

The agreement places no limit on the number of broadcasts and stipulates that the first broadcast and distribution must take place within 60 months of the commencement of the usage period. Specific release schedules and distribution arrangements are to be developed through subsequent discussions under the agreement.

Two AI Animated Films Capturing the Emotion of Christmas

A Christmas Carol is a musical animated film based on Charles Dickens’s classic, depicting Scrooge’s journey as he reflects on his life and changes. Music conveys the characters’ emotions and narrative transitions, expressing the themes of generosity and renewal associated with Christmas. By combining a familiar classic narrative with AI-based video production and musical storytelling, the film aims to appeal to audiences across generations.

Marie, the Little Match Girl’s Christmas Gift is an animated film about a young girl named Marie, exploring heartfelt generosity and hope. Set against the backdrop of winter and Christmas, it portrays the care that characters share with one another and offers a story that families can enjoy together.

While both films share a Christmas setting, they offer distinct emotional experiences through a reinterpretation of a classic and the story of a young protagonist. AIFLIX focuses on the harmony of character emotions, music and visuals, emphasizing the power of stories to reach audiences across languages and cultures.

Expanding from AI Content Production to Overseas Distribution

The agreement is significant in that it enables AIFLIX’s AI animated films to be supplied to four countries through a purchase and distribution agreement with an overseas broadcaster. By securing distribution channels spanning television, online platforms and cinemas alongside its production activities, the company has established a foundation for broader engagement with overseas audiences.

In particular, the agreement connects Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Bangladesh within a single framework, extending its supply coverage across Southeast Asia and South Asia. Another feature is the inclusion of rights across multiple media, allowing the films to be introduced in ways suited to local viewing preferences.

AIFLIX plans to build experience in overseas AI content supply through this agreement and expand the possibilities for international distribution of future productions. The two companies will continue content supply and broadcasting and distribution preparations to ensure the films are introduced reliably to local audiences.
